Gym Day 4

The pain had subsided and I was feeling very good.

Quick workout this with absolutely no time wasted between sets. Each upper body rep was followed by a lower body exercise rep and I kept alternating till the end. My heartbeat was really up and it felt very good. Spent app 30 minutes to do all this

- 3x bench with 12, 10 and 12 reps of 30, 35 and then 30 k
- 3x Leg extensions with some random weight which i kept increasing
- 3x shoulder press with 10k
- 3x Leg curls with random weight again
- 3x Alternate barbell curls with 10k
- 3x Squats with 15 reps with 12.5 k (yeah i know, what a waste)

Gym Day 3

My whole body – chest, shoulders, arms, calves, thighs, butts, tummy were aching badly so decided to skip day 3.

Gym

Day 2 would have been fairly uneventful had Umesh not been there. Always good to see someone you know. He’s been biking every alternate day and has become the pied piper of new colony by getting many people into cycling. He was of the opinion that I wont be able to bulk up no matter how hard I try. Am no fan of big size anyway.

This is what i did

- 3 x bench press with 30 kg

- 3 x squats with 7.5 kg (this is still laughable)

- 1 x lunges (I’m so sure I was doing this all wrong)

- 3 x barbell curls with 7.5 kg

- 3 x shoulder press with 7.5 kg

Still doing random stuff and will continue with it for atleast a week.

Gym

Finally joined my friendly neighborhood gym. Its got a facelift and has plenty of new equipment. Feel I will stick around for long this time. Was happy to see shining new Olympic rods.

The drill was fairly routine. A little bit of this and a little bit of that done carefully and at low intensity to keep my muscles from cracking up and screaming.

Did all of this finally. Must have spent less than 30 minutes.

- 2 x bench press with 30 kg

- 3 x barbell curls with 7.5 kg

- 7 dips (this was a surprise since last time I remember doing only 3-4)

- 2 x 15 Squats with 5 kg (this is laughable)

- 3 x 14 shoulder press with increasing weights.

Could have pushed but didn’t want to.
